According to the formal release, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.
The questline focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
