Outrage as Popular South African DJ Gunned Down in the Heart of Johannesburg.

A popular South African media personality and entertainer has been fatally gunned down in the metropolis of Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a nation struggling with persistent crime.

Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the city centre on a Tuesday afternoon.

Officials stated the forty-year-old presenter was accosted by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before fleeing on foot.

"The report indicates the deceased was approached by three unknown suspects after parking his vehicle, and they shot at him before fleeing the scene on foot," an official report confirmed.

Security camera video showed a suspect with dreadlocked hair and clad in what resembled a protective services outfit opening fire on Stock before running away.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was wounded but fell down across the street.

Police added that Stock had an gun that was not fired and no items were stolen during the incident.
