Declan Rice Deliveries on corner kicks and set-plays caused problems. Was given freedom to move down the left flank only to be in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Granted a well-earned substitution on the hour mark. Six

The star midfielder Operated in a forward position on the right and contributed with defensive duties. Showed moments of class and mishit an attempt over. Substituted in the closing stages for Rogers, a fellow player, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s best chance of the first half, his strike well saved from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah holding position, he was forced to provide width out wide although his balls from the touchline were hit and miss. Replaced late in the match. Six

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring two more finishes for his country. His first a trademark opportunist's goal while the second an excellent headed goal having drifted away from his marker. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him leading the line. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play on the left flank. Had a good opening when set up by Bellingham yet the keeper kept it out. Rashford made much more of influence after coming on. 5
